Default Urinating every night?

over the past month i can only recall getting two nights of uninterrupted sleep. every night i wake up between 2-4 am to use the restroom.

i stop drinking liquids about 2-3 hours before bed, and the only thing i consume immediately before bed is a cup of cottage cheese/greek yogurt mixture.

is the constant urination caused by the meal i eat before bed, or is it due to the 2 gallons + of fluid that i consume throughout the day (primarily water)

does anybody else face the same problems? if so, what have you done to combat it, or have you simply just accepted it as a'norm' for athletes and bodybuilders?

I almost always get up to pee as well, like you I drink a lot of water (1 to 1.5 gallons)

I think it's pretty normal when you consume that much liquid. I wouldn't stress over it.

I'm the same way, I look at it this way I'm already up so consuming a protein shake won't hurt my sleep.

ahhhh, well im glad to see im not the only one facing this dillema, i just wish there was a way around it so i can get a full night of uninterrupted sleep.

i currently dont eat during this time, should i consider changing this, or not really bothering since im pretty much a zombie at this point anyways?
i dont like mixing a shake before i go to bed because the protein just sitting in the water doesnt sound like it'll keep its quality.

RawIron... sorry to hear about ur situation. i refuse to even turn on a light its so blinding, i cant begin to imagine the sun midday!

Coffe, green tea, some carb drinks and supplements will usually cause this. Sometimes I have to go every 30 minutes at night especially if I finished my workout late and hence, had all my supplements late at night

This is completly normal, even for any non athlete as its recommended to drink before sleeping sue to toxins build up in kidneys during 8 hours of no drinking,
