Sumo Deadlifts

165x5
210x5
250x3
320x3
360x1
405x1

Glute Ham Raises

3x8

Pullups

8,6,6

Hammer Curls

20s 3x15
Neglected training this past week due to complications at work. No focus at all, was considering backing out of the meet. Pulled 405 today, deadlift is still feeling weak. I've decided I will go through with the competition regardless.

Speed Bench (Against Mini Bands)

45x10
75x5
100x5
122x3
132x3x9

Tate Presses

15s x 15
20s x 15
30s x 10
35s x 6

Shoulder Presses

20s x 12 x 2
30s x 12 x 2

Rear Delt Flyes

15s x 12 x 3

Going to work hard over the next few months to increase shoulder strength and size, it's definitely a limiting factor for my bench press. Have always been a weakness of mine. 2 more weeks of training then taking the last week off to rest up for the competition. "All the way, Louie, all the way."

Floor Press

45x10
100x5
150x3
175x1
195x1
215x1

Called it quits after floor presses. My elbows/forearm/tendons were bothering me at work today, decided to train tonight anyway. Big mistake. Feels like my arms are going to fall off.

That doesn't sound fun. I hope you feel better soon.

Any idea what's going on?

I've been using a lower bar position for squatting lately, seems to put a bit more stress on the tendons around the elbow area. Could be work related, too. I'm using hand tools all day and am constantly lugging and pulling on equipment.
Little sore today, should be 100% tomorrow.

April 20th. Meet Results

Weighed in at 83.1 kg, went 9 for 9

Squat - 451 11lb PR
Bench - 275 14lb PR
Deadlift - 424 5lb PR

Hit a few small PRs, nothing record breaking but it was progress. There were 4 flights, what along day!
