Been a while. Forogt what I finished last week with..o well

No PT, day off,
No GYM

Tuesday: PT: Stretching in prep for Weds.

---

shuttle sprint
ss
max reps Handstand pushups (4,4,3, static hold at top for slow 15 count)

Weds:

Gym: my body is wrecked! may pick it back up tomorrow, or this weekend, depends how I feel.

Will be out of town starting tomorrow for the weekend. If I cant get to gym tomorrow sometime, I will try to at least go for a run or do some metcon while away..just to stay "active". but that ruck march destroyed me. I did it with a horrible shin splint, so I had to jog almost the whole way (felt better than walking on it)

What is a box bench?

I really like the combo of front squat and power clean! Hitting your legs nicely from the back and the front.

"box bench" is my own creation i guess. One of the gyms I use has TONS of squat racks, and very few benches. naturally, the benches are always taken. What I do is stack plyo boxes at a squat rack and do some bench press! the weight is generally lower, because it is hard to initiate leg drive. on those days I try and incorporate pushups and dips as well. I had to give this exercise a unique name for logging purposes.

Friday: NO PT, no GYM. Jumped out of an airplane w. a 30 lb rucksack hanging off of me...ALL DAY LONG leading up to the jump. plus I am starting a "master fitness trainer" course that is apparently pretty tough and starts with a PT test on monday..think Ill just rest until then

not sure how lifting will go for the duration of this class. if it is as tough as advertised..no lifting..LOL, if I feeel I can do some..trust me, it will get done. but prob wont be fancy

Thanks for the explanation of the box bench.

Wow, good luck with the new fitness course.

Thanks Commander,

Have not forgotten to update the log, been in my exercise class. definately learning a lot. muscle phys, kinesiology, nutrition..everything. best part is, it is tought by experts in their field, most of the instructors have been or are collegiate/pro strenght coaches. this is just what the doctor ordered. after class i have been sticking around to pick their brains and having them coach me on the various lifts to nail my form. Its great.

I have been hitting the gym each saturday, nothing worth logging. usually a 5x3 squat session with a few extras. maintaining right now. after class is over, end of next week, I think I am going to run 5/3/1 for a bit, since my power lifting energy has been renewed by these strenght coaches!!!
