Question Healthy Lean Geek

I'm a complete engineering geek, who has also been an athlete his entire life. I'm now 34 and after taking a break for a few years, to travel the globe, have discovered there's a lot more to getting back in shape than just hitting the gym. I didn't take supplements during college, but didn't need to since I had entire days of consistent physical activity. I thought about shelling out for a personal trainer, but I hate schedules and I still travel a lot.

If I have the time, I can still whip out a 3 hour workout session without needing any supplements, no problem. My issue is that I no longer have 3 hours and I'm really tired after my workouts. I have no desire to look like a bodybuilder, just a lean mean meat beating machine, sorry techie joke. I also don't want to overdue it on the supplements, not a cash issue, just don't like having to haul a bunch of stuff around with me. I've been working out consistently for almost three months and have been seeing consistent results, but as any good engineer, I'm always looking for Faster, Better, Stronger. Therefore instead of turning myself into a genetic engineer, just to increase my health, what are some some solid supplements? A week ago I began protein shakes, a multivitamin, creatine, fish oil, and Lysine. What else should I be taking; I've read about taking a solid essential amino acid supplement or a BCAA. Is it better to take an all-around Amino, or focus on the BCAAs? I'm all about taking things in balance, so I don't want to overdue it in any single direction. Also, what else should I be taking, if any?

I'm currently 6'3", 217 lbs and want to drop down to 200, while increasing my physique

Welcome; myself I stick with a multivitamin, whey, creatine and BCAAs.
