Default Rice

Is white rice or brown rice better for bulking? I read a box of minute rice and white has more protein than brown but I read a lot that brown is overall healthier. Which rice is better for a nice clean bulk?

Brown is healthier, but for bulking it doesnt matter. I use white while bulking cause I can not stand brown rice.

have you ever tried wild rice? it is a much more dense rice, full of flavor, and a great nutrition profile. look into it, its one of my favorite to have with fish and poultry

Yea I love wild rice, but I love my wild rice with tons of salt and gravy ahahaha white rice I can eat plain no problem. And its cheap cause Im sure eating 2 cups of wild rice for each meal could get expensive.

Brown rice is better for you no matter what you are doing. White rice is refined and stripped of much of its healthy properties. Use brown rice and learn to love the taste. I personally think that white rice has no taste, but brown has a nutty flavor. Good stuff!!!

I'd go with whatever one you like better, thus making it easier to eat more of.

Of course, variety helps keep the apetite up too, so it can't hurt to eat both. Just mix it up.

If you are splurging try Jasmine Rice cooked in chicken broth rather than water with a bit of butter and salt for flavoring. Good stuff. When I was bulking it was a staple for me.
