Wednesday Evening
3rd Session for the day - the idea is to run myself into the ground prior to vacation, then supercompensate Tire Drags - 4 rounds of...Forward, Backward, Row, Press Thursday Morning Occluded Walk Bonus session - I typically don't workout on Tuesday and Thursday because 1) I'd have to get up earlier due to walking the dog and 2) Doing legs at 6:00 a.m. sucks, lol! However, I wanted to squat twice today, and I am shooting for squating tomorrow as well, which will make 5 squat sessions in 4 days. Worked on my weaknesses this morning; Legs and Arms 6 Trisets: Squat 220x5, 2 sets 230x5, 2 sets 240x5, 2 sets Barbell Curl 60x8, 7 sets - really focused on tempo and squeezing the biceps Lying Tricep Ext 60x8, 7 sets Last 2 sets of tricep extensions, I finished with top half close grip press to burn out the triceps.

The National Association of Scholars, after examining the curricula at 50 leading universities, reported that in 1964, all of them required a Western-civilization survey course. By 2010, however, none of them required a basic Western Civ course, not even for history majors. ....if we don't appreciate our roots, we are doomed.

Pushing the limits

Thanks guys, the intensity was planned overreaching prior to vacation so I could supercompensate instead of detrain.
Spent 8/19 to 8/27 near/in Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. It was beautiful. ...and no, I didn't feel the earthquake even though it was about 30 miles away. People who were in the rental house felt it, but I was out hiking in the mountains and had no clue there was an earthquake. Sunday Squats and Bench to get back into things.

Tuesday Morning Occluded Walk Lunch 3rd day in a row squatting = stimulus for growth in my puny legs Squat 240x8, 5 sets 220x12 Leg Extension 135x10, 3 sets Suspended Leg Curl superset with Leg Extension BWx8 then 100x8, 3 sets each Active Rest between sets of legs, mixed it up with the following 3 exercises: Tricep Kickback - I know, typically a wimpy exercise, but between sets of squats, not bad for a tricep pump which was what I was going for DB Curl Lat Pulldown
