Better, I don't think it will hold be back long. I could probably even squat or deadlift (really light) today. On Thursday when it happened, even attempting a bodyweight squat hurt, so it is healing nicely. I am lucky, it is not serious. It can be so scary when something happens to your lower back when deadlifting.

Monday AM Chinup BW+11 x 10, 10, 8, 8, 6, 6 1 Arm Pullover 27x10, 3 sets 1 Arm Stiff Arm Pulldown 24.5x10, 3 sets T-Bar - wore a belt for this, really had to focus on keeping my midsection braced to avoid lower back pain, it worked, but it was harder than normal 163.5x10, 5 sets DB Row 57x10, 4 sets Pulldown 102.5 x 15, 10 Band Stiff Arm Pulldown, Rows Lunch DB CG Neutral Press 75.5x10, 4 sets CG Pushups - first two sets used a band to increase tension slightly BWx15, 15, 15, 16 Suspended Pushups BWx10, 4 sets superset with Lateral Raise 13x10, 4 sets Pulldown 100x20, 15, 15 Band Stiff Arm Pulldown ------ Diet Update Up 1 lb this week from 182.4 to 183.4, and I am going to keep it this time! Macros bumped up slightly, about an extra 18g carb and 100 calories overall.

I'm glad I got in extra tire work on the weekend and a great workout on Monday, because Monday night, a stomach bug got me. First my oldest son was sick, then my youngest, and finally I caught it.
First out the bottom, then out the top (if you know what I mean). Down 7 pounds. Appetite still not back. Hopefully I will have my appetite back tomorrow and energy levels will be up enough to get in a light workout. Maybe this was for the best, I was going to attempt to squat on Tuesday, but my lower back is not 100% yet, maybe this is God's way of protecting me, lol.

Man, That bug hit our household. I was going to start the 13 week program a week ago but it knocked me out for a week. Took about 5 days to feel 100% again. Good luck!

I feel yoiu. I've had a similar thing past 2 days although doesnt sound as severe as yours. I'm back to the gym tomorrow.

I hate getting sick, because I feel like all the hard work is going to be lost, then my pride wants to get back into the gym before I'm ready. Hope you feel better.

Still recovering in terms of my appetite, my stomach is just not 100%. I can't stomach the quantities of food I was consuming right before I got sick. That sucks, my metabolism is hyper fast and I need TONS of food to gain mass.
Saturday I was finally well enough to workout, but I couldn't push myself to do occlusion, it was pathetic, but I was nauseated from an arm workout. However, I can't let myself get down, this lower back injury and now this stomach bug are just a road bump. I will come back. In fact, I am a pretty optomistic person, so I am really trying to see the benefits to having missed 4 days of workouts in terms of letting my lower back heal/rest. If I hadn't gotten sick, I was bound to have pushed to hard and made it worse. Bodyweight down about 7 pounds from initial loss last Tuesday when I caught the stomach bug, haven't ate much since then, but luckily, weight has been stable. Hopefully, I can get the 7 pounds back quickly since it should be mostly fluid loss. Saturday 245 days to stop wasting days! Arms Hyper Chinups felt really easy because I was fresh.....and weighing 7 pounds lighter! I do know I am down about 7 pounds. Today I have been able to eat almost a normal amount, hopefully the scale will bounce back slightly as my muscles take in some water and glycogen.
