I had two questions going into the fight Lesnar's chin, and Carwin's endurance if he was pushed past the first round, both were answered. My hat's off to both men they were class acts tonight, I never thought I'd see a humble Lesnar, but I guess that's what a near experience can do to a guy.

Yeah he's definitely in a league of his own in that division, any other heavyweight would of probably been finished.

wonder what that does to carwin, confidence wise. His punching was the one thing that was a worry for lesnar and it proved uneffective. so now what?

That fight was pretty close to getting stopped first round. It must of however affected the confidence of Carwin. He was taken to hospital after the fight as he was having problems breathing and hyperventilating. And this was a pretty long time after he tapped out so I don't think it was related to that.

Good thing Lesnar kept throwing random punches every now and again when he was on the ground, if he hadn't I think it would've been stopped.

I think Carwin bounces back and rolls over competition in the heavyweight division, and next time comes in with better conditioning.

No doubt he will come back and knock out a few more heavyweights. But he no longer has the urge to maintain his record of 1st round knock outs. I think he will try improve his conditioning more and might even let a fight go into the second or third round just to test his conditioning. But by the time he gets his rematch with the champ, Lesner will have more experience and no ring rust. Would be another great fight and a very close one to call. These two are in a class of their own.
