Decline Smith Machine: 4X10

Hammer Strength Bench: 4X10

Machine Flys: 4X10

Good chest workout, regardless of the fact that some guy removed weight from my bb right before a set. At 12:52 today my son was born, 6lbs 3 ounces, 20-1/2 inches long. Right now he's in the intensive care nursery being monitored, his left lung has some fluids in it, your prayers for him and my wife would be much appreciated.

Wow, there's a "gymbocile" moment. Hopefully, he removed weight from both sides so you didn't hurt yourself with an uneven barbell.

Congratulations! You and your family will continue to be in my prayers.

A lot going on today so I was unable to make the gym. My son seems to be breathing a lot better, they were able to give him his first bottle to see if he took in the desired amount, if not he'd be back on feeding tubes. Like I've said to others I have complete faith that everything is going to be okay. If you've read my journal you'd know how big of a fighter I am, and I'm 100% confident that my son shares the same spirit. On another note I've been sober for 1,000 days today, it's amazing what God can do in someones life.

Excellent news regarding your son.

And congratulations on the 1000 days sober. Keep fighting the good fight.

Good news, my son was released from NICU last night, we missed him this morning due to the circumcision, but about to head back down to the hospital to introduce him to his big sister. God is good.

Standing Leg Curls: 10, 10, 10, 10, 8

One Legged Leg Ext: 5X10

Leg Press: 5X10

Smith Machine Squats: 4X10

I started out with hack squats but noticed when I hit 90 degrees there was a lot of pain in my lower back at that angle so I opted out. My lower back has been bothering me for at least a month now. I need to be a little more serious about my PT on it. This setback came close to setting the tone for this workout, but I stopped feeling sorry for myself and kicked it into high gear. I was completely drenched in sweat, by time I hit squats I was hurting, but forced myself to bang out deep squats. Should make for some good DOMS tomorrow. What I'm learning this time around about getting back into the swing of things is sometimes you have to call yourself out, don't be afraid to call yourself a lazy, piece of crap. If you don't want it for yourself, the odds are great that no one is going to want it for you.
