Default EPOC from Heavy Weights mostly Fat

http://www.ergo-log.com/epocafterheavyweights.html

Quote from article:

The EPOC after the training session with heavy weights was higher than after the training with the light weights. Nothing new here. What is new is that the researchers were able to work out that the increased energy expenditure after the training was mainly derived from fat burning. The researchers donít know why this is.

Sounds like something interesting I hope they follow up on.

Indeed, this is really interesting. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they only went up to 75% of their 1RM, does this mean occluding a muscle and training at 20% of your 1RM could have the same results on the EPOC?

Good question, we'd need Andro's expertise for that one.
