Another area where I have nothing but a hunch and would like to see a bit of research would be the effective absorption of whey protein at times other than PWO when your body is primed for absorption (along with high GI carbs). I get this suspicion that our trusty fast-acting protein is not being used by the body nearly as effectively as we think and I wonder how much money we are LITERALLY pissing away (or simply turning to energy/fat). Is it truly possible to slow the absorption with fats or is this just something we say because it makes sense?
This hunch comes from the fact that I get much less protein in my diet than when I was using whey, but ALL of it comes from whole food sources now. |

Great topics guys. I like the diet acidity one as well. We will publish another concurrent training article here soon, and then start addressing these issues.
