Thanks commander, i am for 5 lbs each workout...and i give all my credit to your journal...that hip drive thing is really helping me. before i was trying to stay too upright and getting stuck at the bottom w/ heavy weights..im rolling now!

I think you are going to enjoy cleaning it first. It just feels more natural to me than coming out of a rack.

good christmas workout today...
200.4 lbs Squats: 135x10 205x8 225x5 275x3 325x5,5,5 Bench: 135x10 185x8 215x5,5,5 Deadlift: 135x8 225x5 315x3 375x5 Dips: BW+45x8,8 Incline Situps BWx20,20,20 finally had to use straps on the working set only...everything felt great tho..could have added 10 lbs all around, will continue to take it steady |

thanks ellingham...it was mostly muscle memory the first half my log...now its plain progress...i just had an eppiphany one day and my form got super good and locked in..plus im eating more now, its a slow game...you'll get there my friend! just keep doin what ur doing!

26 Dec. workout was nothing special to report..wanted to get some swimming in w/ my father in law, ended up doing some light lifting before hand..i was late to the gym so i did bis, tris, shoulders w/ him...just light DBs, and a few laps in the pool...time to hit it hard and get back on track starting tomorrow morning!.
bodyweight is up last time i checked 200.4 on 23 DEC. |

lol, way too many cookies!! my wifes family is huge and Italian...so needless to say, there is never a shortage of food.
Squats: 135x10 205x8 225x5 295x2 330x5,5,4 BB Sh. Press: 115x8 150x5,5,5 BB Row: 135x8 190x5,5,5 Pullups:BWx9,7,6 Chinups:BWx9,8,7 -fell off a bit on squats this time...nothing to worry about, ill keep the weight next time. own it, then progress! |

just got some new running shoes, put their first 3.5-4 miles on today (i know from the community gate to where i turned around its 3 miles round trip...unsure about the distance from the house to the road tho)
