Good thread for sure. The only time I spend about 2 or 3 hours in the gym is when I'm training legs. And that's usually because of the longer rest times in between sets when doing squats and leg presses. I don't think my thighs and calves would ever respond if I only did a 45 minute workout. No way.

Well what is your rest time when doin legs? I could try to shorten it up a bit and see what happens.

if its a regular workout i usually do 1-3 mins for small muscles and 3-5 mins for large muscles. but if im doing intensity or some other kind of workout, its less. like right now im doing 90 secs rest for all muscles.

if going heavy no more than 2 minutes usually between 60-90seconds though
