yesterdays macros wont go up..a little embarrassed by them..lol, but it was all in good fun...i was met after work by my wife and 2 sons for a spur of the moment chuck e cheese visit!!!! i ate too much pizza and payed for it today w/ a stomach ache...lol, it was fun

I'm glad this program is going well for you bigbear. You've made some tremendous gains in strength. Do you have an idea how much longer you plan to train 3x5 until you get back to DC?

thanks ordo, my original plan was to do a month of it...i am at the end of week 2 i think (i lost count, so thats where i stand..tomorrow is my last workout of week 2)..since it is going so good, i may stick w/ it for another 2 weeks after...still undecided...my body is feeling better each time I go in, so I feel confident that some hardcore RPing would not hurt me...i wanna see how much of my strenght i can get back tho!!! i was doing 230x20 when i got hurt...so i still have a while to go..peristence pays off

Squats:
135x5 205x3 225x2 280x5,5,5 BB Sh. Press: 95x5 130x5,5,5 BB Row: 135x3 170x5,5,5 Pullups:BWx6,5,3\ Chins: BWx8,5,4 /both done alt. between sets of squats squats: second set was heavy, 3rd set felt great pull,chins: not really impressive w/ the reps...but i am getting more endurance in the 2 and 3 sets..no complaints |

That can't be right. I just finished my 4th week of 3x5 and I started at the same time you did since your thread is what inspired me to stop DC for a few weeks and train heavy

yeah...my bad...just ended week 4...lol, i told you, things just mesh together!! haha
Today: Squats: 135x5 185x5 205x2 225x2 280x5,5,5 + Bench: Barx10 135x5 185x3 200x5,5,5 Deadlift: 135x5 225x3 295x1 335x5 Dips: BW+10x10,8 had a good workout today... -i kept same weight for squats because last workout it felt heavy, i didnt know if it was cuz it was the end of the week, or i was stalling...i was only tired, after 2 days rest 280 felt GOOD! will progress next time -bench: FINALLY had a good bench day, all 3 sets felt great...time to bump it up and keep climbing! -Deads:STILL NO STRAPS!!!! only switch to sumo grip for my working set, lets see how far i can take this w/ my now pencil, soon to be HUGE forearms! in other news, i am seeing noticable gains in the mirror and on the scale, my size looks about where I was before my surgery, still a few lbs light tho, way more vascular now, bodypart of the week: i am noticing my shoulders are developing very nicely as long as i am seeing gains, i will stay w/3x5..after that I will take a week off, then hit my DC routine hard |
