Just got back from vacation last night from beautiful Florida. My best friends were Golden Corral, Ponderosa, Planet Hollywood, Burger King, and lots of dessert lol. 8 days off from lifting and lots of food, fun, and sun. I feel more relaxed and needed the time off to recover. Now I have a renewed motivation to get bigger, stronger, and jacked.

First session since vacation and picking up where I left off. I would have liked to get 6 on my first 202 set but it didn't happen. Still I can not complain. I weighed 205 last night after ice cream lol but this morning after breakfast I went down to 201. I have started to get strict again on my diet today and I am going to cut a few lbs. Not sure if I want to go down to 195 or 190 yet it depends on how I look and feel.

Glad you had a good vacation! Weighing 205 is pretty high for you right?
Nice PR, even better considering you already did a set of 5 so likely were feeling some fatigue.

4/27/09 Legs
Squats- 165x8,8 225x5 275x3 320x1 350x4 335x5 335x5 Rdl- 340X6 345X6 Ssq step up- 165x6 170x6 (pr) Db swing- 120x6 (pr) SSQ calves- 385x10 395x9 405x9 Donkey calf- 205x13 215x13 (pr) 7 out of 10. Squats sucked. They felt heavy and awkward. I need to sit back more and arch harder. If I said I had 6 hours of sleep last night that would be exagerrating it was so frikken hot and humid last night I couldn't sleep. That problem should be fixed tonight since I set up the good ole A/C.

4/29/09 Back/traps
BB rows- 145x10,8 195x6 245x3 285x1 310x6 315x6 320x6(pr) Pullups- 75x5 75x4 (blah) Db rows- 125x8 135x8 Pullups- bw x 12 bw x 12 BB shrugs- 505x10 510x10 515x10 BHB shrugs ss with db shrugs- 405x15/70sx15 415x15/80sx15 Band rows- purple x 50 *6. I have had better. My legs have been so sore the last two days it is ridicolous. It is really sore in my groin. I feel like I spent to much time on the good girl bad girl machines. After my first warmup set of bb rows my left groin just hurt bad. I put some icyhot on after that which just warmed it up but it still hurt. I take 8 days off for vacation and I come back weak and with less endurance. Monday kind of sucked and today I was weak too. Time off is way overrated. I made better results training 3 weeks in a row. I am going to make some minor changes and not train to failure every set. I will keep it heavy in the beginning and do higher reps at the end.

My groin is still really frikken sore tho. My bis were so sore today that if felt like they were gonna pop out the skin even tho I did not work them yesterday (back and traps). I decided to stop messing around and get stronger again.

People are not kidding when they say it will make you stronger or kill you lol. This is brutal. I took it lighter on the assistance to be on the safe side. My end goal is 575 a 25lb increase. I am using rdl instead of sldl to save my back. I am not circuiting the assistance exercises. I do 3 sets of bb rows then 3 sets of rdl. The I alternate the chins and goodmornings.
