3/27/09 Events (tearing up my backyard one friday at a time)
Axle cleans- 70x5 110x3 140x3 165x3 185x5 Chain yoke- 220x100ft 400x50ft 400x50ft Farmers walk- 205x100ft Farmers holds- 450 (225) x 20sec 450 (225) x 31sec Sled forward- (working on starting strength) 230 x 30 ft x 2 320 x 30 ft x 2 410 x 30 ft x 2 Sandbag carry and load- (pick up and run 15ft and load then run back to start) 150 x 3 150 x 3 *first time doing the chain yoke 220 was easy. on the 400 the first 50ft was easy. The 2nd the loading pins kept hitting the grond and swinging to much. I need to raise them up a few chain links to avoid that. My back yard is not exactly flat at all lol.

Not as very sore at all from yesterday which was kinda suprising.

Box squat (13 inch) 245+chains + mini band above knees 8x2 DL standing on 3 inch blocks- 275+chains 8 x 1 Str8 leg goodmorning (hamstring focus) 135x8 155x8 175x8 195x8 Db side bends- 125x10 135x10 145x10 Standing ab pd (2 sec pause) green x 15 green + chains x 15 Seated box jumps- 12 inch box to 22 inch 3x3 Donkey calf ss stair calf- 30/15 31/16 *good speed on the de stuff.

Log press (clean 1st rep) 55x8 107x5 147x3 177x1 202x1 217x1 (pr) 227x0 227x1 (pr) 237x0 (grr got the clean missed the press halfway up) Pullups (ng) 50x6 65x6 80x5 Lying db ext (thick) 75s x 8,10,10,10 BB upright ss cg pushup- 95x10/ bw x 20 100x10/ bw x 15 105x10/ bw x 16 1 arm band pushdown- purple x 12 purple x 15 *well i hit 227 on the log which was decent for only training it 3 weeks. I cleaned 237 fairly easily but missed the press which was exhausting.

Concentric goodmorning- 135x5 225x5 315x3 365x1 405x1 440x1 470x1 (belt) 500x1 (ties pr) 515x0 (almost) SLDL (standing on 1.5 block) 285x6 305x6 325x6 345x6 Hip belt box squats- 50x10 60x10 70x10 STr8 leg situps (5sec neg) 35x10,10,10 Db side bends- 130x10 140x10 150x10 Plate pinches- 75x20s 75x20s *did not feel very strong today. The plan was to dl but everything felt heavy. So i switch to concentric goodmornings and tied a pr.

Log video looked real smooth, good work. Nice job on the concentric good mornings as well. Sucks when dl feels heavy, you did a smart thing switching it up. you're smarter than me....sometimes I let my ego get the best of me only to not even get a heavy weight off the floor.

DE log strict (clean 1st) 132+chains 8x3 Inc CG- 177x3 205x3 230x5 (pr) Pullups- bw x 20 bw+chain x 13 bw+2chains x 10 oh tricep bar ext- 105x10 115x10 105x10 Seated facepulls ss dec pushups- green x 16/ bw x 15 green x 16/ bw x 15 green x 16/ bw x 15 run .5 miles walk another. 5 easy *decided to run after lifting and suprisingly since I haven't run in a long time it was easy and I actually enjoyed it. I credit that to all the strongman stuff giving me better conditioning.
