Default Knee Injury

Hey everyone,

I am currently working out with a buddy of mine who has had a past knee injury. it was done during football. He wants to work out his legs, get in shape, and become cut. But, everytime we go to do squats he has to pretty much sit it out because he says it gives him a sharp pain in his knee. I have found that working leg press does not irritate his knee. Running on the treadmill bothers his knee, but it seems the oliptical machines are ok on it. Thanks alot.

Well, he is going to get surgery, but his weight is too much for a weak knee to handle. So, he is also losing weight so he won't be out of work from a knee in healing.

Agreed! If someone has bad knees the elliptical machine is the safest.
