ok...i guess i'll just keep with this tread rather than making a new one for every fight card...lol...here are my predictions for tomorrow night...i honestly feel Shogun is going to knock him out pretty quickly...Hendeson/Franklin could go either way but i definitely feel Henderson will pull it out.
UFC 93 Henderson over Franklin Shogun over Coleman

Hendo Vs Franklkin is gonna be an awesome fight. Both are really good. Its hard to pick. Id probably hvae to go for Hendo but I really like Rich Franklin
As for shogun, he better fight alot better than he did against Forest, that wasnt even a good fight and he still got submitted. Granted at the last like 30 seconds of the fight but they were calling him "the worlds greatest fighter"

I like Franklin by decision and Shogun by TKO in the 2nd.
Can't wait for Penn/GSP!! UFC has a lot to live up to after that last card. |

About time we start getting some predictions about the main event between BJ Penn and Georges St. Pierre. I'm getting really pumped about this fight, it's always a treat when you have 2 of the top 10 lb for lb fighters in the world facing off. I'll be picking BJ Penn to win, I think he's a smarter fighter, and if his endurance is good he should pick apart GSP like he did in the first round of their last fight.

i am also picking BJ Penn...i think it's going to be great to see a man with 2 belts...i'm also picking Fedor over Arlovski in the Affliction card this weekend.

BJ is going to have to pull off a minor miracle on the ground since he is outmatched by GSP in every other facet of the game (size, striking, takedowns, takedown defense, mental, conditioning). Luckily, BJ has 5 rounds and the fact that the only time he was finished in his career was due to a cracked rib. Its a tough one to call, but I think the good money is on GSP.
Oh, and Shogun over Coleman was an easy one to call. Did you guys see their first fight in Pride? Shogun was winning and had to stop due to a fluke injury when he tripped. |

TERRIBLE fight....Shogun could have finished Coleman in the first. Coleman was literally staggering and looked delirious early on from fatigue. Pathetic fight. Chuck should destroy Shogun.
As for this weekend, I got Fedor. Next weekend, GSP. Penn doesn't have the heart, or cardio to pull it out.
