I just trained at my school gym for the first time...omg, I just died and went to heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the most awesome gym EVER. I could not even imagine some of the equipment they have there. I trained legs with Layne, and if this workout did not stimulate hyperplasia, nothing will. Just an amazing workout. Proud of myself, because I was able to hang with perhaps the most hard-core leg training athlete in the natural bodybuilding realm...but at a steep price. I am finished...

Arms hypertrophy
3 sets alternate dumbbell curls w/ seated tricep press-downs. Worked with 40-50 lb dumbbells 3 sets double bicep cable curls with tricep press downs 3 sets preacher curl machine w/ weighted behind back dips, 2 plates 3 sets behind back wrist curls (135), hammer curls (40-50s), seated dumbbell reverse wrist looking pretty good this morning; was very happy w/ my progress. Oh yeah, and I am basically a cripple right now...legs are shot.

Yesterday I did the upper body power weight workout i have posted previously. Then at night I did 20 sprints on bike and some abs/serratus. For serratus I did that at home with my gym bag, holding the handles. Just stuffed things inside to make it weighted, while I lay on my bed and did pullovers w/ it. It was awesome!
Today and tomorrow are really light training, more focused on active recovery. I need an extra day before I go on another heavy cycle; very beat up. Power calves, arms - 30-50% 1rm, 5-10 reps, high velocity 3 sets alternating dumbbell (20 lbs) w/ french dumbbell (45 lbs) 3 sets incline calve raises w/ reverse tibialis raises on lying hamstring curls 3 sets hammer dumbbells (25s), w/ behind back bench dips w/ body weight. 3 sets occlusion wrist curls Then some really low intensity cardio and a lot of stretching for my legs. I have an issue w/ my left hip joint. I work on rehab incessantly, but it just does not appear to be healing. It is not a huge deal and I can work past it, but it is very tight and sometimes hurts during hip flexion movements. Sucks...

I did it!!!!!! 500 lbs baby!!!!!!!!!
Heavy deads, thighs power. Active recovery 3-4 mins on row machine between deads, and couple minutes to prepare for lift. Deads 135 2*10 185 *5 225*5 275*5 315 *3 375*2 405*2 455*1 475*1 PR - I felt pretty strong on this, so I went for the 500 with some confidence 500 * 1 PR #2!!! - This is definitely my 1-RM. Maybe could go a little heavy, but even with this I felt my form was a little compromised. Still I got it, and that's all the matters. It was SUPER heavy. But I was pumped after 405 *8, 8 Then did some power on leg extensions, leg press, jump squats. And I did heavy gastrocs on donkey calve raise. Cooled down 25, then stretched a long time. I got to admit, I have a huge sense of satisfaction right now. I know I can't get complacent, but I need to enjoy this...at least for today.
