i am not ok with this at all. It's got nothing to do with racist, i love/hate everbody equally. lol.

But seriously, i am really upset about it. Not ok with any of his plans that he can actually pull off in his allotted time in office.

Actually seriously considering perhaps moving to europe if things don't get better my sister lives in germany...

Not ok with this, no not one bit...

WHy? he's passive aggressive. Pull out all the troops? slap in the face to every family member that lost a loved one, insult to thier memory, and will probably wreack havoc on the economy. Already is bad enough, more less pull us out of that? please...

If he does what he says he will do, I will no longer care for the future of this country, but spend all my efforts and time insuring the future of my family. Talking bout two years food storage, water and water purifiers, generators, and finish my schooling for my Doctorates in Medicine (which technically i haven't started yet) and assure my families well being, whatever that may be.

Another thing: i think perhaps that taking the super rich, and making them richer by keeping the poor even poorer is crap, but taking from the rich and giving to the, don't get me wrong but, LAZY?!? no sir, thats no bueno... I mean, if you have a job and are doing the best you can (my mother growing up) YES!!! GOV'T HELP IS LITERALLY A LIFE SAVER!!! but making it EASY for, lets just be realistic, lazy alcoholic/drug addicts to do even less and get paid more for it? no thats not cool...

yeah, i think tax cuts for the rich was pointless and ethically wrong, i mean they're already rich why do they need that extra two or twenty k a year, but giving money to those who, frankly, don't deserve it? thats against everything i believe in...

Doubters will be proven wrong. Obama is a heckuvalot better candidate than McCain or pretty much anyone who ran for president this time. Spider-man: move to Europe, Germany? That's both ironic and hypocritical, as I think you will find that pretty much any European country will have politics to the left of Obama and any other typical politician from the US.

I am very proud that this country elected Mr. Obama. I have a great deal of respect for him. I have never been this excited about any politician ever until now. I believe Mr. Obama will be a great president and an even better uniter of this country and the world as a whole.
Did you see how many people were excited and crying tears of joy last night, not only in this country but around the entire world? That is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Millions of citizens of this world said that they wish they were Americans because of this. This shows that any American can really become President if they apply themself. Now when a parent tells their child one day they could become President it is the truth.

I know that many great Americans were smiling down from Heaven last night. Such as Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, and John F. Kennedy as well as this country's founding fathers.

I agree, he is a very polished and well spoken individual. It's nice to have a respectable president again.

Obama does not have "socialist tendencies," he has a prescription for America's ailing. It is a far, far cry from socialism.

But in reality, nothing will really change... it never does. He won't follow through on all of his promises, but then again, who does? His cabinet will be moderately democratic, and he is a smart man who will make decisions in the best-interest of the country, not just in the best interest of his "liberal socialist agenda."
Agreed, Good post!

I'm not going to lie it got me choked up too. I think its hard to say that his story isn't inspiring no matter what your beliefs are.

Many people don't like change, but regardless of how anyone feels about it history was made last night.

yeah probably. But hey, at least i won't care what goes on over there ( not being cruel but as i am not a native, they won't care what my opinion is anyways).

i guess we will just have to wait and see. Some will be disappointed, while some will be pleasantly surprised, and there's even the possibility that he actually won't change a single thing therefore nobody will feel any difference...

imo he could do some good but, like many before hand i do feel there will be the three big problems

1. interfiering with running of smaller countries (as ex british Mil Pol) i can safely say we had not buisiness in iraq and soon (more than likely) congo.
afganistan is a funny one as yes it is the search of OBL but we've fought through an entire country and found nothing.

2. the 'fear' effect, over last few years, korea, china, russia couldnt care less what we ask or tell them not to or to do. example america told russia to withdraw from georgia immedietly, russia threatened nuclear response and still hasnt fully left now.

3.the infamous speech mess ups. i.e.
I want to thank my friend, Sen. Bill, first for joining us today. He married a Texas girl, I want you to know. (Laughter.) Karyn is with us. A West Texas girl, just like me
