during my past workouts i have always wanted to tone my body, but my thighs were always muscular. i'm 5'3" 128lbs. i have thighs (thunder) and a butt. i want to slim my thighs, esp. innerand lift my butt. i was told to do more reps with less weight. will stationary exercises with say 3-5 lbs work better.
what exercises will really work??? thanks |

Welcome aboard! Well, if you are genetically predispositioned to have large quads it will be tough to slim them down.
Think of it this way. How much fat covers your thigh? If you have excessive stored fat in that region then the first thing you should do it clean up your diet, and your exercises should include both cardio and weight training. It is not as simple as just increasing the reps and lowering the weight. To help you. You should cut some. Alter your diet to make your lovly quads appear smaller. LOL.... Normally i would say run to loose body fat. but this is probably going to make your quads bigger. So you probably just need to alter your diet a little. Hope this is helpful.

Get to work on balancing your body out.
Work on improving your upper body! I too have large legs ...but have over the years learnt to love 'em and through lotsa hard work and determination built an upper body to match. Go girl! |
