I would hit abs with legs and back
I love sprints after cardio. How are you varying her running routine? Distance, time? How about: (1 hr each session weights. 30-45 min cardio, exception hiit.) Day 1: back + biceps + forearms + abs Day 2: cardio Day 3: chest+ triceps + shoulders Day 4: cardio Day 5: legs + abs Day 6: cardio Just an idea but there are so many combinations. I really hope we get more posts here from others. More ideas. She's a volleyball player so there are sports specific drills you could do with her. Supersetting here and even trisets would be a great idea. Let me know what you think. Make sure she's eating clean and eats within the range she needs. I don't know but it seems essential to me to have a goal. Increase strenght? Maintain strenght? I am assuming you are doing flexibility exercises too. Checkout the window of opportunity for her post workout shake. http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/windowofopportunity.php Just my two cents, Amazon

Well, I am thinking that adding some specific exercises for volleyball will help her condition on that sport..until she gets back to it during the semester.

Thats right Am. Neevr forget specificity people! NEVER!...as for shocks, I have done a new one recently.
I call is static overload. Hammer strength chest press to failure, get my partner to help me through 2 negs. I then pull up for a 3rd, but I hold the static at the top (without locking out) and then he throws on a 45 on each side (maybe 2) and I can't help but let the weight come down on me. I swear my chest the next day killed. Even the bones hurt. Anyone know why? |
