A girl friend of mine wants me to start helping her train in the gym. She basically wants a flatter stomach and smaller butt + hips. I want to help her achieve her goals, but at the same time get her motivated about going to the gym and maintaining a healthy diet and body. If any of you ladies have a good workout journal I can look at that includes diet, I'd be very grateful.

Just by taking a quick scan through the first page of the journal section I see that soccerchick, nozzle, Kyra1991, and Trackbunny all have journals. You can check those out I suppose. I think Tuf would have a journal too, or at least one from the past, she would have diet in there for sure.

Thanks, I browsed through a few of those journals. I'm also wondering, when females train to get slimmer and more toned, what's their daily split like? Do they isolate muscle groups like when I work out for mass, but just lighter weights and higher rep ranges? Same basic excercises?
