Should I be consuming a pre-workout meal (such as whey protein and oats) on days I do cardio? I've been reading alot of posts and everyone talks about pre-workout meals prior to weight lifting so I wasn't sure. I know I shouldn't workout on an empty stomach....I just wanted to make sure I am eating/drinking the right foods prior to doing a cardio workout.

Make sure you eat enough time before hand so that you don't throw up when doing cardio.
What were you planning on eating/drinking before workouts? |

Eat a serving of protein and some complex carbs approximately 1 - 1.5 hours before cardio...or until you don't feel full at all anymore...same protocol post cadio same timing too.....fit in your macros...
