Also, anyone have oppinions on protien supplements? And "good" brands? I don't want to pay out the nose for something that isn't worth it. Also, any reccomendations on Glutamine? Should I bother?

I really need to update this... took 2 weeks. Was busy as heck the 1st week, and got sick the 2nd. Back in the gym this week, but I've realized I really need to get my core strength up before I can make appreciable gains.

I know this journal hasn't been updated at all, recently. A pinched nerve in my shoulder sidelined me for a few weeks, and I'll have to be cautious getting myself back into the gym.
Once I get back to school in a few weeks, I'm going to do a head on assualt: eat big, lift big, and try to squeeze in 8 hours of sleep. Going to try a 3 day/week split, and maybe squeeze 4 or 5 if I can fit it. Jonathan

Welp, I'm finally back at school and back in the gym. Here's my current split (courtesy MansonOzz in 3 Day Split thread):
Mon: Chest/Back Wed: arms/delts Fri: legs/abs Goals: -Increase weight to 140 lb by December break (currently 130) -Increase bench to 110 lb by December break -Increase overall level of fitness, health, and diet... although at this time I will be mostly focusing on gaining weight, with a little cardio thrown into my routine. -Increase weight to 150 by summer '05. To reach those goals: -Stick to my workout routine, throw a little cardio in (1-2 days/week) when it fits into my schedule. -Keep work outs intense. Be an animal. Get into the gym, do my sets, and walk out beat and pumped. -Maintain a daily fitness journal. -Eat 4000+ cals/day. -Maintain diet journal atleast until I get a good feel for the required meals/portions. Any motivation, tips, suggestions, criticims you guys can provide me, is much appreciated. I may post some pictures up as well... so I can look at them and realize that isn't the state of health I want to be in ever again. Today's "Back in the gym for the first time in 2.5 months" workout: Chest/Back -Dumbell press: 35 lb, 9x8x8 -Inclined dumbell presss: 20 lb, 8x7x6 -Stiff-legged deadlifts: 20 lb, 8x8x7 -Bent over rows: 20 lb, 9x8x6
