Well I was feeling really tired yesterday so I decided to do something simple. Just focused on traps and calves. Not much of a work out by themselves but it would get me through the evening while I waited for my wife to get done with her aerobics class.
TRAPS Rear shrugs 2 sets x 20 reps of 189 2 sets x 15 reps of 246 Shrugs 2 sets x 20 reps of 217 2 sets x 16 reps of 281 Shrugs w/ calf machine 2 sets x 23 reps of 455 2 sets x 20 reps of 595 CALFS Standing calf raises 2 sets x 25 reps of 555 2 sets x 22 reps of 722 Seated calf raises 2 sets x 28 reps of 145 2 sets x 20 reps of 189 Calf raises w/ leg press 2 sets x 32 reps of 325 2 sets x 28 reps of 423 As I was doing the last 2 calf exercises I noticed that the weight was kind of light, as you can notice by the high reps. so next time I will increase the weights. Tonight well be leg night; Quads and Hams. I just hope I have enough energy to make it through my routine. If not, I’ll take a caffeine pill before my workout. Saturday and Sunday I won’t be going to the gym. I’ll have some time to rest, and Sunday I will reserve to sleep in. Sleep, that sounds so good. So… How did I do with my diet yesterday? Kind of good I think. Let’s have a review.
Meal 1 (followed my diet) Protein shake with oatmeal and a banana Meal 2 (followed my diet) Egg, whites 4 each Egg, whole 2 each Oatmeal with raisins and peanut butter Meal 3 (followed my diet) Tune with mayo and mustard on whole wheat bread Nutrigran bar Meal 4 beef w/ nopales wild rice .5 cups Almonds 0.25 cup Meal 5 half a Chipotle chicken burrito (this is my weakness and my favorite cheat meal) Workout PWO shake (Meal 6) only on my workout days Protein powder with Maltodextrin & Dextrose Meal 7 Chicken with a little bit of Spanish rice Okay, other then meal 5, I think I did okay. On March 7th, I’ll be doing a body fat check. Based on the outcome that will determine if I have to update my diet. We’ll see what happens then.

I did not know they made yogurt kind. I've always stuck with the regular kind because thats the kind they sell at Sam's Club. Since I eat a lot I try to always buy my food on bulk. If I see it I'll give it a try. Does it come in different flavors?

This is a quick update. I might not go to the gym tonight. I have this nagging cough that started on Saturday. Maybe I’ll stay home and get some rest. I’ll wait till this afternoon to see how I feel.
