I've heard of using straps to help hold weights that are too much for the hands/forearms. Does anyone know how to do this? I have the same problem with several exercises. My forearms just burn like crazy (SLDL, cable rows and lat pulldowns all do this to me!)

I'm sorry if I embarrassed you Debbie!

Ladies

Do you do the SLDL's with alternating grip? Right hand over left hand under or vice versa?

Your motivation inspires us too, Debbie!

How do you keep the rod from wobbling though? I find that when using cables from biceps, the short rod that I hold on to wobbles a bit.

Jenn, I use alternating grip. I use either left over right under and then rotate whenever I feel like it.
