I have a question, I am having trouble eating enough, I don't tend to eat when I am not hungry, plus I don't eat after 6 pm. I am trying to lose weight and after a year long plateau finally as again. I don't want to mess that up but I feel that I could lose more if I could only eat more. It may also be the heat too making me not want to eat. I do cardio(circuit training)and lift weights using a Cathe tape which is high rep. /low weight. I did up all my weight today during my workout and it felt good. I just need to know how to eat more.

How often do you eat and how much?
Split your meals up into 5-6 meals if possible, eating every 2-3 hours. Forget the "no eating after six" rule because it doesn't work and hurts ya. You want to keep your metabolism going and that would mean you're fasting for about 12 hours (if you wake up and eat at six am)! That's too long to go without food...try the post stickied at the top of the page for some helpful advice. Also, you can easily make a few protein shakes and supplement your daily intake with them. |

When I started eating more, I had to force myself sometimes. After a while you start enjoying it.

Start out slowly too. Maybe adding a meal or two at first, then keep adding until it's up to 6. And make your meals smaller (ie: knowing good portion sizes). And IMO, low-weight/high-rep doesn't do much. Try upping your weight and lowering your reps.

I know, I couldn't eat "so much" at first too. But the posters are right, keep meals small n frequent. As bombflower says, up weights too.
