I'm currently suffering from a pinched nerve in my shoulder which has meant I've lost my entire right arm as well. Per doctor: no upper body workout for the past 3 weeks & possibly another 3 more weeks ahead. I'm very anxious to begin the 13 Week Hardcore Fat Burning Diet/Workout, however am feeling very discouraged that I can't workout to my usual full capacity as it is, let alone try to pull off the workout outlined for the diet in my current state.
Bottom line is, do you feel it would still be beneficial for me to take on the 13 week diet with my modified workout routine until I'm healed? Current nutshell "injured" workout routine is as follows: Mon - HIIT Tues - compound legs: Wed - Abs Thurs - HIIT Fri - isolation legs Sat - Abs Sun - Rest I'm feeling very limited with my current state. My goal is to drop about 5 more % bodyfat & attempt more cutting. Upper body is well defined, but my lower body needs to catch up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Defeneitly don't start the workout portion until you are fully healed!
As far as diet, don't start cutting calories just yet. Just clean up your diet(just doing this can lean you up without even cutting cals! ). So eliminate any simple carbs, and eat well balanced meals that contain healthy fats, lean protein, and complex carbs. So, wait to cut your calories too much until you can start lifting again.
