Okay, I mostly train at home now but I am getting ready to go to the gym today for a little elliptical workout and I'm facing my ongoing battle of what to do with my not quite shoulder length hair. It's not long enough for a ponytail without all kinds of clips and stuff, but if I leave it down it's a sweaty mess by the time I'm done. What do you all do with your hair at the gym? Honestly, sometimes I feel like I need to wear a T-Shirt apologizing to my fellow gym members for the frightful mess they are forced to witness!!

I can relate; my hair is shorter but depending on how I slept, it can be either "okay" or downright frightening. I also have a high forehead that I have to try and camouflage with my not so thick hair. Try a baseball cap! I do this on the really bad days. |

Yeah, I can pull the back into a ponytail, but then the front layers go all wild and crazy so I end up holding them back with those little clippy things. Looks like a science experiment gone wrong, lol! I like the BB cap idea, though, never thought of that!!! |

Before my hair got long enough to pull back, I used to wear a BB cap too. Worked great, but my head did get a little hot and sweaty under there when I did my HIIT cardio workouts!

I can say from my own experience that bandanas breathe a lot better than BB caps. I would get so hot under a BB cap, that I believe it is possible to bake bread under there. A bandana is the only thing that I have found effective to keep the sweat out of my eyes as well.

I'd opt for the bandana...BB hat would prolly itch...that's just me though...I can't stand wearing them.
Luckily my hair is long and I just stick it in a ponytail. |

ever try one of those headbands with the teeth. The kind that attaches to itself (looks like a big circle and goes all the way around your hairline).
