well, this is my first journal entry in a long, long time. That isn't to say I didn't work out... I thought I'd start writing entries along with adopting a new workout program.
So, I started the "13 weeks to Hardcore Fat Burning" workout today. Unfortunately, I'm at home (away from the college gym) for the next few weeks, so I am using the equipment we have here. Today was Chest, Back, Shoulders day. I did the decline/incline bench press, pulldowns, Rows, lateral/front raises and shrugs. However, I wasn't able to do the pullovers (WHAT ARE THEY?) and "seated rear delt laterals" (are these like reverse flies?). Oh, I know that I'm going to be hurting tomorrow. I can't wait! Tonight, I'm putting together a personalized nutrition plan according to the "Plan". Tomorrow, I plan to start jogging mornings rather than biking. Plus, it's biceps/triceps day! You'll stick with it! Anytime you feel down come to the board and we'll perk ya right up!
Pullovers are in the Exercise section. Just check under Barn Door Back. There's many variations! Yes, seated rear delt laterals are just like reverse flyes. Good luck!

Hey guys! I'm so excited! I woke up this morning before sunrise and finally did it. I got my butt out of bed and ran. It was only for about 20 minutes and painful, but, I'm feeling fantastic now - and like I've accomplished something! Hope I can conjure up the strength/bravery to get up tomorrow and do the same thing, only better.
Now, I'm going to chill for a while and then go work out my arms. Later! |
