I believe in keeping it as high as possible for as long as possible, only cutting down when the fat loss stalls.
However, it will be trickly starting off because I am gaining weight right now due to rebounding from the sickness. Had I not gotten sick and I just switched from 5400 to 4000 calories, I would be losing weight as planned. But instead I went from 5400 to probably 1500 when I was sick to 4000 now that I am better, so naturally I am filling out with some water weight. I may just implement a few smaller decreases in carbs/calories after my weight stabilizes.
