There is no such thing as toning
The only difference between men and women when lifting is not as suggested how much you lift or calories as i know a few women who can deadlift 400lb at size 10...
muscle size difference is down to testosterone.. aslong as she isnt using AAS she wont get blocky like blokes do.
Any basic workout suitable for men is suitable for women.
