Smith Machine Squats: 4X10
I started out with hack squats but noticed when I hit 90 degrees there was a lot of pain in my lower back at that angle so I opted out. My lower back has been bothering me for at least a month now. I need to be a little more serious about my PT on it. This setback came close to setting the tone for this workout, but I stopped feeling sorry for myself and kicked it into high gear. I was completely drenched in sweat, by time I hit squats I was hurting, but forced myself to bang out deep squats. Should make for some good DOMS tomorrow. What I'm learning this time around about getting back into the swing of things is sometimes you have to call yourself out, don't be afraid to call yourself a lazy, piece of crap. If you don't want it for yourself, the odds are great that no one is going to want it for you.
