this new study in basketball players showed that after 2 week, those walking with occlusion increased VO2max...i think it might be something to add in to supplement your cardio, but perhaps not entirely make up your cardio. maybe have one HIIT day and one occluded cardio day...i think we're going to start seeing more and more treadmill studies, which i am a HUGE fan of...i believe occluded walking is the big future of occlusion...if we can increase muscle size/strength/cardio in one bout...that would do WONDERS for the elderly
