I did it!!!!!! 500 lbs baby!!!!!!!!!
Heavy deads, thighs power. Active recovery 3-4 mins on row machine between deads, and couple minutes to prepare for lift.
475*1 PR - I felt pretty strong on this, so I went for the 500 with some confidence
500 * 1 PR #2!!! - This is definitely my 1-RM. Maybe could go a little heavy, but even with this I felt my form was a little compromised. Still I got it, and that's all the matters. It was SUPER heavy. But I was pumped after
405 *8, 8
Then did some power on leg extensions, leg press, jump squats. And I did heavy gastrocs on donkey calve raise. Cooled down 25, then stretched a long time.
I got to admit, I have a huge sense of satisfaction right now. I know I can't get complacent, but I need to enjoy this...at least for today.
