interesting!! i like to call myself a 1 setter..but really i do about 2 or 3 total sets per muscle group after you take in warmups and my static holds, etc..also, i wonder how much mindset played into it..think, if you go to an average joe on the street and bring him into the gym, i garuntee he says something like "how many sets we gonna do"...ya know...its just into people that more is better...i still believe that with my hardwork mindset and getting all my reps in and knowing when to quit and when i can do another rep at 80-90% max i can stimulate my muscle more than some average guy doing multiple sets w/ 60% his max
