I think it best to chug it, you'll get a more rapid spike. In terms of optimal amount, with whey its closer to 27-33 grams according to the leucine content. I know their study indicated 20 grams, but like I said, they only measured one variable when there are so many others to analyze

I dont really like the slow drinking because it may cause you to go refractory
