From my experience it's best to just back off on injuries like that. If it is not too serious, then you can work around it and it should be ok in a couple of weeks. But if you keep re injuring it, then it will linger or get worse.
Also, you can still get some good workouts in w/o squats / deads. And when you go back to those lifts, it will be a good shock!
