I have not seen any studies on the effects of gum chewing on satiety. I would need to do more research on that. Anyway that could post studies on this would be appreciated.
I personally have never experienced increased hunger from having gum. The only thing I could think off that would potential increase hunger, is the cephalic insulin release, which may decrease blood sugar levels; but I would imagine this would be small.
