I would definitely eat after a workout even in the late evening. Heck I eat right before I go to bed sometimes and I have had lots of success at losing fat. It's just a matter of eating the proper foods. After working out is when your muscles are in a catabolic state and are the most sensitive to insulin so any fat storage would be far fetched especially if you ARE eating the right foods. I believe that if you don't feed your body when it needs it most, it will only end up rebelling against you. I really think it would actually thwart your fat burning efforts if you were to keep from refueling it after workouts. It's like you would stay in a catabolic mode so in essence the body would just keep feeding off it's muscle which is exactly what you DON'T want cause the muscle is what does the fat burning! Feed your muscles and you keep the fat burning going. That's my 2 cents. [img]/forum/images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
