I did that for years..... Not eating after late night work out. I was simply not hungry (I'm a morning person!). Anyway I had my fencing lessons quite late in the evenings three days a week so when I came back home around 11pm I really just felt like jumping in bed. Of course I hoped to loose some fat in the same time.
What I achieved was a VERY bad recuperation and absolutely no fat loss. I wont recommend not to eat after late night training, since your body need the nutritions to recover (and you'll also need some energy to burn fat!!).
If she doesn't really feel like eating then simply take a shake with some proteins and a little carb.
