Protein for weak stomach help.
I have IBS-D, and I am lactose intolerant as well. I don't use protein supplements because they are horrible on my stomach. I get the runs every time I have a protein powder shake (sorry if TMI). Anyway, does anyone have any advice on protein supplements for people who have a very sensitive stomach? I feel like drinking a protein shake and running to the bathroom is just counterproductive, but I definitely need a boost to my diet. I can't get all the protein I need from just food, especially with my condition.
