Dizzy During a Workout

Sometimes I get dizzy during a workout. I am not too sure what it is but I have a theory. Could too much L-Arginine in the preworkout supplemenation dilate your blood vessels a bit too much to cause a significant drop in blood pressure resulting in dizziness due to the lack of O2 getting to the brain?

Maybe, could also be related to blood sugar, i.e. If you train on an empty stomach and aren't used to it, or if you had a high sugar meal and are crashing.

I will echo what CDR is saying...I only tend to get dizzy during an evening workout, if I have to do one; the reason being I change my Pre workout habits and am crashing..i normally workout first thing in the morning, so I beat the crash by consuming a 25% protien 75% carb mixture (w/ 33% of those carbs coming from sugar)

Dizziness during workouts

1. pre-workout powder or fat burner (obviously hit the CNS hard)
2. Dehydration.. as daft as it seems
3. holding your breath on heavy sets (common way to pass out after the set)
4. Blood pressure

After experimenting for a bit, I just need to have enough carbs and be hydrated enough preworkout. The CNS stimulant is probably a factor as well, and lack of carbs probably amplifies it.

Thanks All!
