Hello again! Earlier in March, I made a lengthy intro and received a lot of great input on the plan my trainer had put me on. A month since starting, I've made a lot of progress overall, though exactly how much I don't knwo just yet. I'm hoping to have my measurements done this week.
Anyway, one suggestion for training that I got from Schless looked like this:
Tues: Legs/Light Abs
Because of my schedule and my love of Spinning class, I'm thinking of altering her suggestion a little
Mon: Chest/Tri/Elliptical or run on treadmill
Sat: Shoulders/Abs/Elliptical or run on treadmill
I would say that I am an intermediate in my fitness level as I have been doing it for some years. I'm just now really concentrating on my diet for the first time which is probably why I've made the most gains.
Anyhow, that said, I'd like to get your input as well as your suggestions for reading on splits. I've skimmed the articles under "workouts", but maybe have missed an article that's "not to be missed".

i would honestly cut out 2 of the cardio sessions on weight training days since you are picking up 2 spinning classes during the week. myself, i would eliminate monday and friday's cardio. otherwise i think it looks good.
Ditto. I think 5 days of cardio is too much, especially since two of them are spinning classes which are pretty intense.
Thanks for the feedback! I have revised my spreadsheet and I'm doing the two spinning classes and I may or may not do any cardio on Saturday.
