I knew it helped with metabolism and stimulating stomach acid.
But here is an article discussing the benefits of increasing insulin sensitivity.
I am going to add it to my dinner since that meal is my highest in carbohydrates aside from breakfast. I had it last night for the first time, whooo! It's strong, that would wake you up if you took it in the morning. Quite a kick.
I had the apple cider vinegar with my pasta/meatballs last night and didn't feel as sluggish as normal, I am wondering if it is placebo effect or if it was really just working well to help my meal digest and my blood sugar to be stable.

I live on it. Most people have diet sodas or sugar free sweet drinks to satisfy their hunger; I have this. If you put splenda in it it tastes amazing; plus it appears it might help health, satiety and leanness. I like it.

What is your dosage and timing like?
I used 1 teaspoon prior to my dinner.

I have about a tablespoon actually. I have it with meals, 2-3 times a day.

Wow that is hardcore, I had some trouble with the teaspoon, I can't imagine 3 times as much! Maybe I will work my way up to it.

I put it in about a liter of water and 2 packets of splenda. Tastes really good to me...maybe I just have issues lol.

aw, there's the key, lol! I was just downing it straight, no splenda, no dilution.

I did that too, and it feels like swallowing aqua regia... but my question is: is it the acidity that helps, or some substance in it? I.e. is it still effective when it is diluted?

i actually really like the taste of it. I put it on my salad a dressing and also just put it in water and drink it and find it good.

I've been mixing it in about 1 ounce of water, really helps it go down, plus it sorta tastes good with the water.

I just spoon it in my mouth straight. I like the kind of clean feeling it leaves in my throat.

I'm going to sound really dumb! Why would you want improved insulin sesitivity. I would think you would want insulin resistance. Or are you guys saying the same thing

basically, the less insulin the better. the body secrets only the amount of insulin it needs. so by increasing insulin sensitivity it takes less insulin to do the same amount of work (in really simple terms). insulin resistance is a bad way of looking at it, itll just confuse you more.
