You know how you use to click on the persons name to go to last post? Well you will see an arrow right by the name - click on that and it will take you to the last post!

It seems that there are posts that I haven't read yet that are not bold.

Not a huge deal, but I like being able to take a quick look at what I have/have not read by whether a thread was bold or not.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

Also, I noticed threads with posts I haven't read but the icon indicates "no new posts." I can figure out which one's are new by the date, but the icons are helpful. It seems there is only a "new post" icon for posts within the last day or so.

Thanks

It appears as though in the Introductions, the threads are not in order by "newest to oldest". What is the forum default?

one thing i'm not keen on is the automitic subscription to an answered forum, i answer as many as i can and end up with a list resembling google

I like this feature, it makes it so much easier so I can check up and see if someone has replied. But yea if your making like 50 posts then I could see how annoying it could get.

another one the reduced space for private messages?

also any planned section for discussion of the legal prohormones? not sourcing just what they are so people on here ask about them before using them and can get educated or is this falling under supplement section

He means this thing that used to be above every post when navigating the forum:

Well you can still access from our home page, http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/

Will work on this in the future.

Are ya'll planning to redirect the old links to the new ones Such as:

www.abcbodybuilding.com/forum/showthreaded.php?Number=1115841 (http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/forum/showthreaded.php?Number=1115841) got changed to http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69258 without being automatically forwarded to the new location.

Its important both for usability reasons and for search engine rankings. Ya'll used to rank first for the term "p90x" using google search , now ABC is atleast 10 links deep (and will probably get worse as time passes) and just links to the "we've moved page". Whoever is doing your web development should look into 301 redirects and the SEO reasons to perform them or ask on the Vbulletin forum.

Thanks, GMUNIT. I'll put this on the project list.

Dont know if this has been asked yet, but are we ever going to be able to access the articles from the forums website? Or do we need to go back to the homepage for this?

Venom
10-12-2008, 11:33 PM
Its on our project list.

Link
10-13-2008, 03:26 AM
If you can you should post that project list up, might make it easier for you so you dont have to tell us if its on it or not, we can just check ourselves.

Well, we are going to publish the new site soon. And my plan was to start a feedback thread so you guys can let me know if there is anything else you like. Really, after that the only major thing on my list is the forums...needs quite a bit of work.

Guess everyone went to Facebook. Most forums like these have seen a downturn, and people move on.

Guess everyone went to Facebook. Most forums like these have seen a downturn, and people move on.

That's because unqualified people come here and spew misinformation and argue with the knowledgeable people. Thus, they all decided to discuss their research through e-mail and sometimes Facebook instead where they don't have to deal with certain people. Working on their Ph. D, work, and research takes up alot of time as well.
