Do you guys take BCAA supplements on non-training days? If so when is the best time of day to take them?

In the morning and before bed and or in the middle of the night would be the most important times in my assessment. Otherwise, one time is as good as another. Having it with a meal will increase protein balance; and having it between meals will as well.

I usually take mine rigth after workout, with pwo shake or meal. This seems to be a good time, only do it once a day, should they be taken more often? Not sure. /forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Your body utilizes the days on which you do not train to repair itself and recover from the days on which you do train. You can help aid in that process by supplementing with BCAA's on both training and non training days. BCAA's work best when they are taken with a meal (regarless of whether or not you trained that day).

How important do you think BCAA supplementation is on a bulk?

I have been considering getting some for a while, but wonder if it is worth it.

Also, does it matter whether you use the powdered v capsule form?

I used Biotest's BCAAs I found they made a huge difference. On lifting days I would take 4 pills before, during and after. On non-workout days I would take them like Venom said. I tried the middle of the night intake for awhile but that was a pain.

Good point, Particularly when calories are lower, or protein intake is lower, you can increase caloric efficiency by simply adding BCAAs to a meal

I read the article on Champions AA Shooters, but I am trying to figure out what the recommendations are for non Champion BCAAs. I bought Optimum 2222 but I don't know how much to take.
