Ok Ive never taken any type of supplements and am starting to take creatine and I have a question and would REALLY like to have a timely response. Ok I got the Body Fortress High Performance Creatine. And on the container it says to take 1 Scoop which is 43g after working out. But the abcbodybuilding.com article on creatine that I read said to load at around 20-25g for five days, then maintain at 5-10g a day for 4-6 weeks. I want to do what the website instructs, but how do I know what 5g is? I believe I read that a heaping tablespoon of it should be 5g, which is what i started with tonite just to test it out and see how it tastes and w/e. So am I on the right track or not? Any help will be great. Im also going to be taking The Body Fortress Whey Protien along with it for whatever its worth.

43 g is probably the mass of the entire serving, including the non-creatine stuff (carbs/sugars). Each serving probably only has around 5g of actual creatine -- it should say on the label. Try reading the label again -- it might be written in a way that's hard to understand, but it should be on there.

Is that the product you are taking?
Assuming that it is, loading with it (20 grams or 4 servings of it per day), will provide you with an extra 512 calories from dextrose. That's ~3000 calories for the 6 days of loading. I can't imagine that causing you any problem since you are taking it to gain weight.
I have never taken this product so I am not speaking from experience here. However, I think you'll be okay to load with it.
Moving forward, you may be better off buying pure creatine monohydrate instead of the pre-mixed stuff because the individual ingredients are cheaper to buy and they give you the control of manipulating the quantities to tweak your progress.
If you want any other questions answered about supplements, try to provide links to product descriptions and their nutritional facts.

Yea, that is what I got. Ok so I should use the entire scoop as it says on the package since its not actually 43g of creatine because it includes other things and that entire scoop would include my 5g of creatine correct? Also, im not exactly taking it to gain weight, I know that I will, which isnt a problem, I do workout (Lift, run, ect) everyday. But I started taking it because Im going to be playing college football next season and was looking for a little extra boost. If it helps any Im 6ft 170 right now. Run a 4.7 40, 32 inch verticle, bench 280, not sure exactly what my squat is at right now. Im not tryin to brag or show off or anything, I just figure if you know a little more about me then you could maybe help a little more.
