Recently I made a post in the nutrition section here, http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/forum/sho...;page=0#1241879 (http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/forum/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=1241879&an=0&page=0#1241 879) about how people cope on cheat days.

FloridaTitan suggested the product listed in the title.

Here are the questions:

1. Does it work? Are there studies that support this?
2. Do you have any experience with this?
3. What are the side effects
4. What is the optimal dosage? What if you cheat for an entire day (i.e. Christmas day)? What is the maxiumum you should take.

Any other comments you can think off.

Here is a sample link to the product, http://www.musclesurf.com/cheatersrelief.html

Look forward to hearing your guys feedback!

I actually picked some of this stuff up the other day to give it a try. Had a cheat meal Wednesday night and Thursday night (rather hefty ones at that) and I would say I'm rather pleased with this product. I have no idea whether the effects were placebo or real as I wasn't measuring any sort of variables at the time, but from my own experiences with past cheat meals, the usual bloat of the next day was definitely gone, and it didn't seem the meals effected me at all in terms of BF%. The only side effects I received were stomach ache's (but this could also be due to the cheat meal...).

Basically the run down on the usage (from the table on the bottle) is.. if the meal you're going to consume has 45-64g of carbs/8-15g of fats, take 2 pills 15 minutes prior to the meal and 2 pills 15 minutes after the meal. If the meal is 65-84g of carbs/16-23g of fat, take 3 pills 15 minutes prior and after, and if the meal consists of 85+g of carbs and 24+g of fats, take 4 pill before and after the meal.

I tried this product on a whim not expecting to see any substantial results, but the decreased bloating the next day definitely intrigued me and suggests somethings working here, so I plan on doing some research on a couple of the ingredients listed. I'll let you know if I find anything of note.

Thanks, bro. I really appreciate the feedback!

One thing I would be particularly interested in, is if you get the same hormonal effects from food? For instance, one reason people carb up, or even cheat on their diet, is to raise hormones such as leptin, which then increases metabolic rate.

Look forward to hearing about your findings!

Hey guys. I'm leaving on a cruise tomorrow, and I figured I'd try this stuff to see for myself while I'm on vacation. It just came in the mail today (just in time!). I actually don't plan cheating much too much (which will probably end up not being the case...Disney cruise...one week...yeah, not looking good). So I'm looking foward to seeing how well it works on the days I do load up.

Honestly though, I'm not expecting much. I hope I'm wrong though and it works for me like it did for oakleys.

BTW, hey oak, are you one of the members on the abc facebook group? You look familiar...maybe it's just because I've seen your avatar before though.
